Claire's Under the Sea has been in my stash for quite some time. In the bottle it appears more green-blue but on the nail my eye picks up more blue than green (it all depends on the light I guess). This polish goes on easy and is opaque enough for one coat. There is a big IF though. That being, it takes forever to dry which pretty much makes the fact that it is a one coater pointless. Here are 2 coats with no clean up because I am sure they are probably still wet here.
A little bit of this and that about me and what I am thinking and doing. This is the inside scoop on my goals, my likes and dislikes, my fears and anything and everything else you can imagine. No guarantees on what this ride may bring but let's hit the road and see.

Think Pink
As everyone knows October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Now is the time when a lot of companies put out special products and the proceeds are donated to one of the many, many foundations, hospitals, local groups that are involved in fighting breast cancer and its effects. I somewhat opted to not buy anything this year and send donations directly to the association of my choice and support friends who are doing walks, runs, etc.
This mani is a few days old now so I am only showing 3 out of the 4 fingers I usually show and hiding some of the tip wear. I chipped my index finger while knitting. Yes, I learned how to knit!!!
I used 3 coats of Claire's Mood Polish in Fabulous/Funky with a coat of NYC Love Letters on top. For 97 cents this Love Letters is well worth it. The shimmer it adds is beautiful.

Claire's Neon Burst
Wow, can you say bright. I can honestly say I don't think I have ever worn a color this bright. The funny thing is the pictures don't even show how bright it really is. The downside to all this brightness is it took about 7 coats to get it completely opaque but it dries really fast so. I did throw a coat of Wet N Wild White Creme on my index and ring finger to determine if the number of coats it would take was different. Maybe by one coat so I would just rather not do it since the Wet N Wild seems to take a while to dry. You can tell the diffence in the photo but I couldn't see as much of a difference in real life.
After doing this I thought it needed to be jazzed up a bit. Really? A color this bright need more attention brought to it!! Why of course. Why not set these fingertips ablaze. With a little help from BundleMonster plate BM12 and Konad Special Polish in Red I think I got a fiery fingernail.

Claire's Mixables Ocean Breeze
It still looked pretty chalky and matte so I knew I wouldn't be wearing this alone. You know my theory, GLITTER MAKES IT ALL BETTER!! This had been proven true once again. Enter Wet N Wild Psycho. A clear polish with iridescent glitter.
Two coats of Psycho gave just enough glitter for a subtle shimmer.
I did add a final coat of Seche Vite because I needed my nails to dry quick so I could get out the door. Sorry for the chips and tip wear. I took these pictures after a weekend of washing dishes and holding babies :-)

Claire's Mixables- The Joker Is On Me
So here is my bottle:
and if you were like me and didn't know, here is a bottle of what it is supposed to look like. A layering of a fuschia, black, and light aqua color. No biggie though, I forged on and decided to see what would come about with this.

Here is where it gets fun. GLITTER. While I was not going to walk around with black nails I added some bling to them. Glitter makes everything better right. YES!!!

Of course I couldn't stop at one layer, so the final product was 3 layers of Claire's Joker and 2 layers of the NK Gold glitter. TA DAAAAAAA!!
I think I saved this mani. What do you think? Have you ever had a mani go terribly wrong and done something to make it great?

How Moody Am I?
These polishes work. I could see the polish changing. I know I am moody so I didn't need the polish to tell me that. At least it was fun to see though.
